Hi, I’m Nish.

I’m a visual storyteller working across mediums:
I illustrate, paint, design brand identities and make 2D animation. I also write, report and edit. 

My work has appeared in publications like BuzzFeed News, Courrier International, The Daily Beast, Coda Story, The Kathmandu Post, The Wire, Scroll.In, Freunden von Freunden and independent publications like Thiiird Magazine, Out of Print Magazine, Deep Dives and Homegrown. 

As the former Global Women’s Rights Reporter at BuzzFeed News, I reported from around the world on issues of rights, identity, and gender. I scripted and narrated India’s first true crime podcast, Trial By Error with Jamun Studio, and co-produced for MTV Viacom’s documentary, Rebel Music.
